Local artist night
Meet the maker behind the shelf, sip something seasonal.
Tucked just downstairs on Dow Street — a small, warm spot for a slow latte, a fresh pastry, and a moment to wander.

Tucked between the espresso machine and the pastry case is a rotating shelf of small, strange, lovely things — secondhand books, crystals from local makers, handmade ceramics, dried botanicals, and the occasional tarot deck.
Everything is hand-picked. Most of it is from neighbors. None of it is online — you just have to come find it.

Nothing ticketed, nothing fussy. Just a few standing invitations to come hang out.

Pour-overs, vinyl on low, no laptops past noon.
Drop-in readings on the back bench — first come, first card.

Awesome funky space, good coffee and food, super friendly and welcoming service!
I ordered a great seasonal coffee latte and a very tasty coffee cake.
Wide variety of handmade snacks, yummy coffee and even breakfast sandwiches.
Yep — a handful of small tables, a long bench, and reliable wifi. We ask laptops off the big table during weekend mornings so folks can share.
We love a well-behaved pup at the door or on the patio out front. Indoors is just for service animals.
Yes — beans from our rotating roaster and ceramics from local makers are on the front shelf. Stock changes weekly.
Not yet. The best way to order is to walk down the stairs and say hi. We move fast, promise.

We are located in the 155 Dow Street Collective in Manchester, NH, just downstairs from Fratello's Italian Grille. Our location is unique — on your way in you will pass some of our friends and collaborators, but in the heart of the building you will find us. Just follow the smell of coffee.
Inside we have a classic exposed brick wall (we love a mill building), a moody but welcoming atmosphere, and of course delicious drinks, treats, and more.

With everything needed to create the coffee or tea of your dreams, baked goods made by hand and served fresh every morning, smoothies, green shots, and new oddities and curiosities being added regularly, we are more than your typical mom-and-pop café.
Stop in, say hi — we're here and we love you.
The visionary, owner, and operator behind Moonlight Cafe, Jill is a true lover of coffee and an avid collector of curiosities. With 23 years of culinary experience from all over the world — from baking at US Army dining facilities in Germany, to keeping pace as a barista at an international coffeehouse, to running public school lunch programs in New Hampshire and Massachusetts — she brings a rare breadth of craft to every cup.
In her most important role, she's a mom to her boys — keeping them happy, healthy, and giving them every tool they need to grow into kind, loving humans. Jill has always loved the in-between hours: late nights and slow early mornings, when the world is quiet and a good cup of coffee feels like a small bit of magic. Moonlight Cafe is her love letter to those hours — a cozy, moody space built around kindness, craft, and caring for one another.
